As a result of the amendment of the German Companies Act (BGBl./Federal Gazette I, No. 50 dated July 25, 2002) all announcements made by joint stock companies that are obliged either by their respective articles of association or by law to make their announcements in a respective publication, are to be published in the electronic federal gazette as of January 1, 2003.
